I found the coolest bedding the other day, it was covered in French script...immediately thought it would be FABULOUS with this dresser!

When we found this dresser, it was painted red (badly painted!) with a weird glaze over it...
We decided to use the existing color to our advantage...
we've re-imagined this piece in a rich cream, then moderately distressed to reveal the red beneath
The charming 5 cent Paris postage stamp and postmark (circa 1951) make a fantastic statement across the top...these were also lightly distressed
The entire piece has been waxed and glazed for an aged appearance and to protect the finish
All drawers open/close smoothly
