A little bit of textile art in a bullet casing. I think of textiles as soft and harmless, so it's a pleasure for me to transform the meaning and use of a bullet in this way.
Black suede cords that have contrasting golden silk and copper metallic threads wrapped around. Hand-cut, hand-finished brass tubes (squared and round) balancing the brass casing. I also braided the same metallic and silk threads with black bamboo thread, to give more texture to the Nebula.
The hypnotizing Nebula hangs 3" (7.6 cm) down from a suede cord that is 36" (90 cm) long, and finished nicely with eyelets. Great for layering!
Currently available in the suede cord only, chain will be back in February.
Your Nebula will probably not look exactly like the one pictured, since they are made one at a time. Rest assured it will be just as beautiful and made with all my handmade love, for you.
