Antique/Vintage Textile Mill Flying Shuttles
This is a pair of antique wooden cotton mill/textile mill weaving shuttles. This wonderfully aged pair have their pirns inside and feature beautiful brass details. I have added a hand made wood tab, high quality antique brass keyed socket, a matching antique brass canopy/wall box cover, 18" of cotton twisted brown cord and a 30 watt bronzed glass reproduction tubular filament bulb.
Each shuttle has been meticulously cleaned and refinished with a custom blended wood stain.
The design is such that the cotton wire is exposed in a loop and visible below the sockets...this is to showcase the beautiful, rustic, vintage look of this gorgeous wire.
They are designed for hard wire installation and include all hardware to make a connection to a wall box.
Each is about 16-17" long from tip to tip, approximately 5" from the wall surface to the outside tip of the socket holder.
The bulbs are included.
