This delicate slip was hand dyed in several colors to create water colored Aqua. It's difficult to photograph, but you'll find the colors of the skirt very layered. (see last photo) It's part of the dying process and so the slip features various shades of color throughout. That's how you know it's been hand dyed, not processed professionally. Vintage slips do have a history, it's what makes them beautiful. However, I do ensure that your garment is in wonderful condition when it arrives to you.
The floral brooch is made of layers of hand crafted petals and accented with vintage stamens. The pin is removable which means you can dress up your slip for going out and take it off for laundering or sleeping or. . . *wink wink*
