1950s - 1960s Party Dress - Full Skirt Dress in Black with Metallic Floral Embroidery

This incredible 1950s or 1960s vintage party dress is made out of black taffeta with an overlay of black mesh embroidered with a floral design in silver and gold Lurex (metallic thread). It is sleeveless with a wide boat neckline, and has a black satin ribbon around the waist which is held in place with a snap and a hook-and-eye, accented with a bow at the front. The back has a v-neckline and a zipper closure. Shown with a crinoline for shape in the photos (not included).
