Most cones and sticks available are made from "blanks" or "punks" which are pre-formed substrates you can purchase on the cheap that are then soaked in fragrance oils. They are often very irritating to the sinuses, and one can never be certain of the content or origin of the materials or the energies around them due to their factory production, often halfway across the world.
I NEVER use blanks or punks. These cones are a mixture of herbs, resins, and wood that I choose and mix myself. Absolutely no charcoal or chemicals. They are not oil-soaked blanks. Real hand-formed incense is uncommon in these days of cheap mass-production, and you will be able to tell the difference when you smell it. Everything I make is handmade from the ground up.
