This was a fun collaboration of work. Bill (my wonderfully talented glass artist husband).
The set comes as seen in the picture ~ it includes 9 lampwork beads with fresh water pearls and Swarovski crystal used as spacers.
The 1 Lentil bead measures about 18 mm wide X 18 mm long and 10 mm thick.
The 1 Nugget bead measures about 18 mm wide X 18 mm long and 8 mm thick.
The 5 small round beads measures about 12 mm in diameter and about 8 mm wide.
The 2 larger beads (Bill made these) measures about 13 mm in diameter X 12 mm wide.
The beads in this set have the smaller 1/16 (.062" or.015 mm) holes.
Type of glass used and annealing:
To make these lovely beads I used Moretti soft glass from Italy. After the lampwork process all of our beads are kiln annealed in an Arrow Springs kiln run by a Paragon digital ramping controller.
Like all good glass artist my husband and I cold work all of our glass art after the annealing process ~ reaming each bead with a diamond bit dermal tool to assure the holes are clean from release and have a smooth interior. We realize even the slightest glass shard can cut through the best bead wire. Every bead is inspected to assure top quality, beads that do not pass our strict quality standards are thrown onto our garden path outside our glass studio.
We are Self Representing artist ~ Bill’s SRA number is G65 and my SRA number is G66.
Montana is a "Sales Tax Exempt" state ~ there is no sales tax charged for this set.
Shipping Domestically:
The cost for shipping is $2.00. Items are sent US mail after payment is received. I pay the extra to have every package tracked.
Shipping Internationally:
I am happy to ship to my international friends to countries that Pay Pal accepts (I only accept payments through Pay Pal internationally ~ No e-checks ~ they take over 12 days to clear internationally). The shipping cost for this is $3.00us. I use the US post office First Class International shipping. We have noticed some packages mailed to Germany and parts of the UK can take 30 to 45 days.
