The yarn is a hard wearing blend of acrylic and polyester in cream. I have knitted the hat using two strands to give it more body. It is very smooth, light, warm and soft making it easy to wear all day. It has a 4"ribbed band that can be worn flat as shown or folded up to make the hat less slouchy. This ribbing is quite stretchy making the hat suitable for many head sizes.
Although the hat is basically cream, there are small flecks of black, teal green, coral and more throughout. This gives the hat a nice lift and interest.

Gentle hand wash in mild soap and cool water. Roll in towel to remove excess water and lay flat to dry.
