A smooth labradorite pear flashes beautiful rainbow colors when it catches the light. It glows aqua blue with flashes of peach and gold. On each side of the 20mm x 10mm x 6mm (3/4" x 3/8" x 1/4") labradorite gem there is a small, AAA, microfaceted, teal blue apatite gem and a flashy 13mm x 9mm smooth rainbow moonstone pear. The gems are wrapped together with small faceted sterling silver beads and sterling silver wire to a sterling silver chain. The necklace is 17 1/4" long, and it fastens securely with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.

The labradorite and rainbow moonstone gems in this necklace are all very flashy. The different gems flash at different angles, so as you wear this necklace different stones are constantly lighting up with beautiful colors. The microfaceted teal blue apatite gems add a little sparkle as well.

Labradorite seems almost magical. When it catches the light, it can shift from subtle silvery gray or gray green to iridescent brilliance. The bright color flashes make it fascinating to watch. Please remember that every labradorite gem flashes its colors as it reflects light, so it can look very different at different angles and in different lighting conditions. In low light, it may appear mostly gray.

Rainbow moonstone gems are difficult to photograph. They show their colors better when photographed against very dark backgrounds. The rainbow moonstones in this necklace flash and shimmer with rainbow colors. They complement the labradorite gem beautifully.
