First I covered the cups with slip (wet clay) and swirled it to achieve the pattern and dripping on the pieces. Then after the first firing I dipped them in a first base glaze. the next day I sprayed three more colors on them, and then they went into the gas reduction kiln to be fired to cone 10.
You will sit for hours admiring the variations of color and patterns the glazes made while melting.
Each tumbler holds OVER 16 oz ( 2 cups) and are an average 5" tall and 4" wide, large enough for serving juice, milk, tea, Iced tea, you name it.
