A beautiful engagement/ wedding ring from the 20s. The ring is prong-set with a round, solitaire diamond set in solid 18k yellow gold and platinum. The simplicity of the solitaire setting makes it a timeless and classic choice. The solitaire setting with eight tiny prongs provides a slightly more security in holding the stone.The diamond is nearly colorless and sparkly and full of fire ( rainbow of colors refracting through its facets when light shines upon it ) and is approximately 4.8-5mm wide. Overall condition is wonderful for a piece that is over 90 years old!
