HOW ARE THEY MADE?
All of our growth charts are printed on the highest grade of CARB compliant baltic birch plywood. Birch is a highly renewable resource!
The inks used in the printing are low/no-voc inks, called UV curable inks, which are solvent free. These colors will stand the test of time as they are printed directly onto the wood, and will not fade.
The front of each chart is coated with an awesome whey based coating (whey is a byproduct of cheese making!), giving each chart a nice satin finish. We do not use toxic polyurethanes as they can "off gas" in your home for up to five years.
The finish is all natural, highly durable, and washable too!
INSTALLATION?
The growth charts are easy to hang: each comes with a saw tooth hanger embedded on the back and some sticky foam pads for extra secure hanging when the perfect spot is found!
ARE THEY EASY TO WRITE ON?
Yes! Use any pen, pencil or sharpie, and begin marking moments in time!
