This is a cute pendant necklace that is into a hand carved jade Happy Buddha. They are a golden color jade, as jade comes in many different shades. The necklace is braided with a dark gold color string.
I just love these little Buddha pendants, we used them all right when we got them,,, so I ordered more! I thought they looked so cool because they are carved. Plan on seeing other designs like this from us in the future, cause apparently carved jade is a new favorite of mine! :)
Wearing gemstones has been a practice for people since the beginning of humans adorning themselves with jewelery. Studying the effects of gemstones when worn or carried with someone has been something that I have lived and practiced myself for a long time. I love making jewelry with meaning that is beautiful!
The necklace is adjustable, it measures from 26 inches at the longest and 18 inches when made the smallest. All you need to do to adjust the necklace is grab ahold of the two small knots in the back and gently pull them apart or slide them together. The necklace slips over ones neck at 26 inches, and can be adjusted to be smaller once it is on.
Be sure to read the article about the metaphysical healing properties of jade.
★Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha (Sanskrit: सिद्धार्थ गौतम बुद्ध; Pali: Siddhattha Gotama) was a spiritual teacher from the Indian subcontinent, on whose teachings Buddhism was founded.[1] The word Buddha is a title for the first awakened being in an era. In most Buddhist traditions, Siddharth Gautam is regarded as the Supreme Buddha (P. sammāsambuddha, S. samyaksaṃbuddha) of our age, "Buddha" meaning "awakened one" or "the enlightened one." [note 1] Siddhārtha Gautama may also be referred to as Gautama Buddha or as Śākyamuni ("Sage of the Śākyas"). The Buddha found a Middle Way that ameliorated the extreme asceticism found in the Sramana religions[2].
The time of Gautama's birth and death are uncertain: most early 20th-century historians dated his lifetime as c. 563 BCE to 483 BCE,[3] but more recent opinion dates his death to between 486 and 483 BCE or, according to some, between 411 and 400 BCE.[4][5] UNESCO lists Lumbini, Nepal, as a world heritage site and birthplace of Gautama Buddha.[6][7] There are also claims about birth place of Gautama Buddha to be Kapilavastu at Piprahwa, Uttar Pradesh, or Kapileswara, Orissa, modern India.[8][9][10][11][12] He later taught throughout regions of eastern India such as Magadha and Kośala.[13][14]
Gautama is the primary figure in Buddhism, and accounts of his life, discourses, and monastic rules are believed by Buddhists to have been summarized after his death and memorized by his followers. Various collections of teachings attributed to him were passed down by oral tradition, and first committed to writing about 400 years later.

★ Metaphysical Healing Properties of Jade
Jade is a wonderful stone for dreaming, it assists with both daydreaming and sleep dreaming. In daydreaming jade helps one to reach and realize their potential and teaches one their purpose. In sleep dreaming, jade helps one to formulate answers to ones problems and teaches you how to apply the solutions during awake time.
Jade also assists with expressing ones emotions via dreaming when used at night or placed under your pillow.
Jade helps you to discover your desires and facilitates you to build those desires into physical reality.
Metaphysically speaking jade helps one to realize the limitations on oneself and achieve their objectives. Jade also helps you to become more aware and wise. It assists you to not dwell about your problems or others needs, but to bring the solutions forward.
Jade is associated with the heart chakra and is a protective stone that is said to bring the wearer harmony and keep them from danger. Jade is also known to attract good luck and friendship.
Metaphysically and spiritually jade helps to encourage you to be who you are. You are a spiritual being having a human experience put in the body you are in so you can learn and grow your spirit. Jade can open your awareness to that as you learn about yourself.
Personally I think jade is a good stone for whenever you are feeling a little lost or confused on your path. Jade will help you to find your way back again.
Astrologically jade is connected with the zodiac sun sign of Aries, Gemini, Taurus and Libra.
