I am in love with the porthole type enclosure over the lens as well as the bolted lid. Gorgeous fire engine red paint has just the right amount of wear to make this a perfect rustic display piece. The toggle switch is also a fantastic detail. I did open up the lid and it looks like one of the wires will need to be reconnected. These are not terribly complicated, so with a little adjusting and new batteries it shouldn’t be difficult to get it working. However, as I don’t have these batteries I am selling it AS IS. A fantastic vintage piece, this industrial lantern would make the perfect display piece.
