They are glazed in a transparent blue hue that runs nicely in the words "sugar", "pepper", and "salt" I stamped on the outside. They were fired in the kiln twice, like all my pieces, to ensure durability.
The bottoms of these geometric containers are left unglazed and natural: they are nice to the touch and won't move around you table.
They are so cute that I am sorry to see them go, but they will bring color and fun to your table, so enjoy!

I make functional pottery and all of my pieces are food-safe and lead-free. They are also dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand washing and infrequent microwave use will prolong the life and beauty of your piece.
