When you talk desk chairs, Eames and Emeco typically come to mind—the former for its focus on contemporary style and utilitarian comfort, and the latter for its commitment to bomb-proof durability and timeless aesthetics. (Indeed, the first Emeco chair, model 1006, was commissioned by the U.S. Navy to withstand torpedo blasts.) This vintage Emeco rolling chair follows in the same rugged tradition. Constructed of chrome and vinyl, and exhibiting only minor wear, you’d never guess that it’s more than 45 years old. Featuring an adjustable seat height (up to 22 inches), and four legs with wheels and castors, it’s the perfect addition to any industrial-inspired loft, home, or office.
