Inspired by 1960s era gothic mystery/romance book covers, gothic horror movies full of castles and candelabras, original 18th and 19th century ghost and supernatural fiction, TV's "Dark Shadows" and other delights.
A long-haired woman in a flowing orange gown grasps a brass candelabra dripping with sky blue candles as she wades through the murk, past an iron gate into the caverns below to escape her pursuer. She holds a ring of skeleton keys as she steps into the unknown -- a giant albino toad, cobwebs, a single slithering tentacle. From what has she escaped and into what dangers does she now flee?
