Ruler is 7 1/4 inches wide, 72 inches long, and 3/4 inches thick. The second picture shows how much fun it is to measure your kids!! The third picture shows the whole ruler, pictured on the left is my original ruler painted cream then anitqued. The ruler to the right is painted white and anitqued. I make all my ruler markings 1/2" and 1" with the vinyl also. I use a scrapbook marking pen to mark their heights with their name/date...sometimes my boys want to be measured every week!!
