simple…beautiful…illumination…

Thank you for previewing this fixture...If you like what you see but maybe want to customize it in some way just ask.

Exposed socket design dates back to the early 1900's. When simple pendant lighting was the norm and wall switches were well....not invented yet. I love using a keyed (turn knob or pull chain) style socket with a lot of my designs. It harkens back to an earlier time when things were simple and beautiful. Using this exposed socket design allows me to create a feel that will fit in all styles of living while giving a nod to a time gone by.

To me much of the timeless beauty of a quality fixture has to do with the look, feel and quality of the wire used in its design. Back in the early 1900’s Silk and cotton were commonly used to braid wire. The wire I use is a reproduction of this beautiful period wiring made right here in the USA.

OPTION : All of my pieces can be customized with longer wire and a vintage style plug end so you can add your lighting anywhere in your home. Just put a hook (or two) in the ceiling, plug it in, and you have a beautiful light anywhere! Just add the listing below to your cart and I will make your fixture a piece with 16' of wire that plugs into a wall outlet. This option is an additional cost. See listing below for full details.

** About this particular shade… This is a beautiful vintage holophane glass shade. I don't often come across these holophane styles in the "ruffle" shade style....I love this...Hope you do too! FYI...This is vintage glass and some minor wear and tear should be expected.

** All pendant fixtures come with 36" of wire length. Pictures above will not depict the full length of wire being sold with listing.

** WANT MORE THAN ONE? Just ask. Depending on the piece, I often have many in stock to allow for multiples of the same piece.

** This listing is for One (1) custom interior lighting fixture.
