This listing is for this very cool, 32-page paper wartime booklet, The Miracles of Make-Do. It was published by The Wartime Prices and Trade Board and is an instructional book about textile shortages during the war and includes directions for re-purposing your clothing. There are some great, vintage images inside.
The front cover has some small tears along the edges and the book has been curled, but is otherwise in good condition.
This is a great collectable for sewers or anyone with an interest in wartime memorabilia.
The book measures 5.75"w x 8.5" tall.
