This soft, adorable hand knit baby blue and cream sweater and cap set is from the 1950s. The round neckline has a light blue satin ribbon running through it which ties the neckline closed. There is an additional satin ribbon closure just below the one at the neckline. The upper bodice of the sweater (from the neckline to the chest has a raised horizontal cream stripped pattern woven into it. The lower bodice (from the chest to the hemline) has a beautiful vine pattern woven into it. The long sleeves also have the same vine pattern woven into them. The bonnet has the same vine pattern oven into it and also has a soft, fuzzy light blue brim (which coordinates with the satin blue ribbons on the sweater). There is no ribbon tie for the hat as it was not made to have one. It is just meant to fit snugly on your little one's head without any tie closure. This set is approximately size 12-18 months however, please see measurements below for correct fit.
