It would look great in a wide, black plein air frame. I order mine from Art City Frames here on Etsy, Linda is great to work with. Just tell her that Cindy at Littleton Studio sent you. (see additional photos)
If you buy a 5 x 5" frame with a black foamcore backerboard, you can mount this little beauty from the front with 1/4" black foamcore exposed. I use double stick acid free tape. Framing in this way allows all of the painting to be exposed instead of hiding under the lip of a frame.
