About the piece:
The whole solar system, the whole massive thing! All captured inside this tiny locket. Each little planet is carefully depicted against a deep black backdrop scattered with tiny white stars. Kind of awesome. Painstakingly painted in layers of durable oil enamel with a tiny brush. It is significantly smaller in real life than the photos make it seem.
The locket is spherical, made of brass & copper, and looks pretty nifty worn open or closed. It is antique and has a natural tarnish to it. The chain measures approximately 20" and is a raw brass which will darken to a vintage patina as it oxidizes. Closed with a lobster clasp.
Each locket comes in a decorative tin, bedded in tissue paper. Shipping is first class mail with delivery confirmation for domestic packages and first class with a customs form for international.
