The full skirt is three layers - acetate satin, tulle, and then lace with tulle - the center of the top layer is sheer with scalloped lace. Along the sides and back, there are six tiers - lace, then ruffled tulle, lace, and tulle, and lace and MORE TULLE. There's enough room to accommodate a very large crinoline, too.
The dress buttons up the back, with 35 satin and lace covered buttons (WOW!) It's a master piece of 50's bridal fashion.

I have look this dress over multiple times, and find only one flaw - on two of the buttons, the lace is broken. That's all. No tears in the tulle or lace, no strain or underarm stain. It is fresh and ready to be worn.
