The chain and clasp are both 14 ct. gold-filled gold. While the chain may look delicate, I can assure you that it's really quite surprisingly strong and very well-made. The chain allows for a wrist size of up to 8.5 inches in circumference, though if you'd like it sized a little smaller then the attachment-side chain can be moved in a bit. The "center diamonds" have all been reinforced to assure stability (6-8 threads run through each bead).
Please note: this is not a bracelet that lays flat. It's quite delightfully three dimensional.
