This is a magnificent one of a kind calla lily flower hat (part of Mid-season Collection 2012) comprised of seven eye-catching flowers. It was created using mixed technique of nuno, wet and needle felting, incorporating hand dyeing and wool painting with merino wool, silk fibers and chiffon silk.
Leaf-shaped base of the hat is adjustable for a perfect fit with any shape and haircut. Each separate flower is meticulously attached to the base, has its own light separate frame and treated with special hat stiffening solution.
Base has a built-in plastic comb and small loops for bobby pins or grips for securing the hat to any hair length or style. These features allow this hat to be worn as an accessory as well besides its primary function.
