I just love these wine bottle bottoms that I've transformed into gorgeous eco-friendly soap dishes. I cut the bottom part off of the bottle (and this has got to be done just right or else the dish will be slanted and uneven), then I melt it down to a very high temperature until it takes this beautiful shape. Although these are made from up-cycled glass materials, they're so uptown and modern. They look sleek and would easily fit in a contemporary setting as well. This is the perfect gift for women or men.
Each one is unique and has its own beauty. They measure approx. 3 3/4" in diameter. Holds a bar of soap quite nicely. Soap doesn't sit in a puddle; it's actually raised up a bit which prevents the gooey soap stuff.. They make a beautiful gift. Each one comes with a cute description card and is signed by me. I also add rubber cushions to protect the glass and the furniture.
Color is dark Olive green as seen in the picture.
