These mixing bowls are simply the sweetest possible way to get the vintage thing going in your kitchen. With their highly sought after pink and white designs, the Gooseberry pattern is an all-time favorite. This pattern first arrived back in the 1950's. It features a graceful design of leaves and striped berries. They also have really handy Cinderella style handles (there is a handle on one side and a smaller pour spout on the other side). This complete set is comprised of the four nesting mixing bowls. The bowls alternate between a soft white with a pink pattern and then a deep pink with a bright white pattern. This makes them especially beautiful and interesting to display.
Condition: These are in very good condition. To be more preciseā¦the three smallest bowls are nearly perfect with no significant fading or scratching. The largest bowl is clearly the only bowl that saw any real action. It must have been washed several times because the pink has some signficant fading and several scratches in the paint. The last photo shows the flaws clearly. The other bowls are REALLY impressive though. The paint is still vibrant and the patterns are vivid and fully intact. Let this be your reminder! NEVER PUT YOUR PYREX IN THE DISHWASHER! Those patterns are too precious!
