This beautiful platinum band is made from scratch. Dan starts by melting the platinum into an ingot and then hand-rolls the ingot into this particular size and width. He fusion-welds the band, then forms the ring and hard-rolls it for durability. Finally, the ring is hammered in our cobblestone style and finished to a high polish.
The sides of this band are left unhammered and smooth, for easy stacking. This listing is for a 2mm x 2mm half round band. The 2mm thickness allows for a comfort fit profile, wherein the inner edges of the band are beveled. We also can made a 2mm x 1.5mm half round band without the comfort fit profile.
One of the noblest of metals, platinum has a wear characteristic that outlasts gold 10x to 1x. We use an alloy that is 95% platinum and 5% ruthenium.
We can make these bands for you in any width, any size, in the following metals:
* platinum
* palladium
* 14k gold: X1 white, palladium white, rose, or yellow
* 18k gold: X1 white, palladium white, or royal yellow
* 21k yellow gold
* sterling
We also can make these bands in a hammered finish or a satin finish.

This listing's price covers ring sizes up to 7. Please convo us for quotes over size 7, as a materials surcharge will be necessary in light of platinum’s high density and the purity of the metal.
