This Pendant was made out of an Iron Meteorite named Muonionalusta, from Sweden. It was first found in 1906 but this piece was found between 2006-2008.
Muonionalusta meteorite has a spectacular etch pattern. This meteorite is rarely found on the meteorite market. The strewn field is within the Arctic Circle, making the search very difficult. In the past several years hundreds of kilograms have been recovered. Muonionalusta is classified as a fine Octahedrite IVA, Iron Meteorite.
Makes a great and unique gift from out of this world.
Meteorites are older and rarer than diamonds.
This piece does come with a 20 inch rubber cord.
The dimensions are 24mm x 16mm
