I screen printed black cotton knit fabric using my original strings design and metallic gold ink to make a net-like pattern. I gave this piece a nice shape with a rounded roll-over cowl neck, extra long sleeves with bell cuffs, a tapered waist and flaring a bit from the hips. I made pin-tuck stitches on the shoulders, running down the lower arms, from neck to hem center front and back and sun-ray stitches around the neckline for added beauty and structure. The cowl is reinforced and finished and I finished the cuffs - like most of my designs we left the hem raw - not to worry, I use fabrics that do not fray and love the edgy artistic look of raw edges.
Great for day and evening dressed up and down with skirts or jeans. Comfortable and very special ~ a bit of dark-romance you will look forward to wearing all of the time.
