I searched for flouride-free toothpaste, only to find other nasty ingredients- like sodium lauryl sulfate- ick! I won't get into all the reasons why those ingredients are harmful- a little research is shocking- but I will say I wanted a positive solution. I simply couldn't find a toothpaste with ingredients I liked anywhere. I wanted a healthier option for my family and thought- why not make our own? If we wanted to avoid harmful ingredients, I knew we'd have to make our own. So my husband Jeff and I experimented with tooth powder recipes until we found one we loved! Now we bring it to you.
Not only is our tooth powder better for your health and your body, it's also better for the earth. The glass jars we use are made in Spain with 100% recycled glass, so you can say bye-bye to those toothpaste tubes filling up the landfills. (Plus, these glass jars look beautiful on your countertop!) The labels we use are made from 100% post consumer waste.

The natural clay and baking soda clean your teeth, making them cleaner than you've ever felt before! The myrrh powder is great for your gums and the peppermint essential oil gives you minty fresh breath!
The bentonite clay we use is 100% naturally occurring and naturally quarry mined in the United States, then sun dried. Bentonite clay is actually beneficial when used internally, it removes toxins, so you don't have to worry if you swallow some tooth powder.
Whenever I used regular toothpaste throughout my life, food did not appeal to me for a long time after brushing because of the funky aftertaste blending with the food, but that's not the case at all with our tooth powder.
To use the tooth powder, either sprinkle a small amount on your wet toothbrush, or sprinkle a little in the palm of your hand and dip your wet toothbrush in it.
Ingredients: Bentonite Clay, Natural Baking Soda, Myrrh Gum Powder (Wild harvested), and Peppermint Essential Oil*.

We are Jeff , Taryn, and baby Bracken. We live a simple life in the country dedicated to soulful pursuits. It is our intention to follow a quiet path and create gifts of beauty to share with the world and bring joy.
We are grateful to work from home. When we're not in our woodland workshop creating, we are working on the homestead, located in a lush forest of moss and ferns, on the side of a mountain.
