This is a shortie style wool diaper cover. It has an adorable moose on the caboose, which was part of the original pattern on the sweater it began it's life as. The back is mostly royal blue with the black moose picture, the front is mostly black. Over a cloth diaper wool makes a natural breathable diaper cover.

Size LARGE. Will fit a toddler approximately 16-18 months old and up (could also fit younger OR older, please measure your baby or toddler). This shortie stretches, so it is hard to say what the upper age range is. It should fit all the way through potty learning, but depends on the size of your baby.

MEASUREMENTS:
Waist: 15" Unstretched - 24" Stretched
Rise: 20.5" (From top of back waistband, through crotch up to top of front waistband).
Thigh: 8" Unstretched - 12" Stretched

This soaker started out it's life as a cozy wool sweater, so this item is very eco-friendly. It was then washed and dried to felt it, and then fully lanolized after being made into a shortie. It will come with instructions for washing and caring for it, which is actually very simple.

Wool diaper covers are the most natural way to cloth diaper your baby. When paired with inexpensive Egyptian or Indian cotton prefolds, become an extraordinarily affordable and all natural way to cloth diaper your baby.

From Wikipedia: "Wool has also been traditionally used to cover cloth diapers. Wool fiber exteriors are hydrophobic (repel water) and the interior of the wool fiber is hygroscopic (attracts water); this makes a wool garment able to cover a wet diaper while inhibiting wicking, so outer garments remain dry. Wool felted and treated with lanolin is water resistant, air permeable, and slightly antibacterial, so it resists the buildup of odor."
