Both the front and back of the watch is see through to the gear movement.
The movement is mechanical and so will need wound every day in order to keep accurate time.
If you'd rather have this on a mens watch chain just let me know. The price would be the same. The watch chain ends with a clip that can attach to a belt or pocket.
