36" x 44". Kona cloth, a hefty quilting cotton.
The first picture is of the full piece, followed by two detail photos. The final picture shows a variety of my fabrics together.
All of my fabrics are allowed to batch in a snuggly-warm environment. They are then treated to a cold rinse to stop the dye reaction process. Once rinsed, each piece is placed in a tub of hot water--180 degrees Fahrenheit!--and allowed to soak overnight. Finally, they are run through a hot water wash cycle, dried, and pressed.
