A beautiful silver plate, footed bowl by Oneida Silversmiths.
I'm guessing it's from the 1960's, an era when receiving a silver set, including a bowl like this, for your wedding was still pretty popular.
It has a wonderful tarnish, or patina, to it.
The colors are ranging from silver, copper, greens and purple tones. ( see photo 3)
There are no visible dents or scratches.
6" across and about 3" height
The label on the bottom states a reproduction of a "Sons of Liberty Bowl",
by Paul Revere, Patriot Silversmith. ( photo 5)
It is the perfect size for a candy dish, or perhaps some lemons or limes on the kitchen counter.
Maybe a bowl for letters or other office supplies in a very elegant office.
