We make our art blocks by manually transfering the pigments of an archival print onto an artist's wood painting panel. Because the process is unpredicable and the image never transfers perfectly, each resulting artblock ends up with small, random imperfections that give the image a great vintage, weathered look. Another nice thing about this type of image creation is that the paler areas in the image are slightly transparent, allowing some of the panel's birch woodgrain to subtly show through. Please note when ordering that each block will be unique in terms of the random 'imperfecitons' and subtle woodgrain that may be visible.
These blocks are freestanding but also hang easily by resting on two level screws or nails. Each measures 8” W x 10” H x 1.5” Thick (20cm x 25cm x 3.75cm).
