This nuno felted scarf in it's cheery orange is perfect for the spring. There is a check pattern on the scarf with lots of complimentary colors, see the last picture for a close up. Nuno is a Japanese term for cloth but it also refers to fusing wool to silk and in doing so it creates all sorts of puckers and texture on the silk which you can really see in that last photo. This scarf hangs beautifully, it's light and has lots of texture. The scarf and the merino wool were hand dyed by Carin Engen who has a shop here on Etsy, CarinEngenFiberArts-she does amazing work and makes my scarves look so good. The scarf is hand washable in cool water with a mild soap, rinse well, roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang dry. I don't recommend ironing it as it will take away the yummy texture. The length is 44" inches and the width is 9"-10" inches.
