This is a cypress knee that i got from arkadelphia arkansas. I stripped it of all the bark to get down to the part that is semi smooth, then i sanded it real well and put primer on it. My mother had a shop in Eureka Springs where she sold handmade dresses and anything that I could paint for her. She had me painting santa claus's on any surface I could put paint on. He is 15.75" tall and 3.5" wide. He weighs 12 oz. His coat is burgundy with gold piping. In one hand he is holding a bible, in the other hand a walking stick. He has a cloth sack that is overflowing with apples to give to the animals as he passes them by. His had is olive green with gold trim. His beard is long and flowing.
