Teapot has a wooden base. Chalkboard side has multiple coats of paint and provides a smooth surface for writing. Backside has been coated with yellow paint, and a clear top coat.

Works with regular stick chalk, and even better with a chalk marker for precise writing that doesn't rub off(chalk markers do come off with water)..

teapot is 2 inches long(5cm). 1.5inches wide.

Care:
Prep your board by running a piece of chalk sideways over the entire black part (just like you would a wall chalkboard), then wiping it off. Clean with a damp towel.
