For sale is a full color print (which measures 11 x 17 inches) of an original portrait of Captain America's Shield from Marvel comics. The original item was created by adhering various pages from a vintage Captain America comic to stretched canvas that measures 24 x 36 inches. The image of Captain's Shield was created by cutting multiple stencils, one for each color, then laying down each layer of color with spray paint. In doing so the item achieves a look that is both antique, yet contemporary at the same time; while resembling propaganda from days gone by. This is the perfect gift for any collector of art/pop culture.
It is titled "brilliant blue" as that is the color used as the base color of the piece. I've done another version which uses a "paprika red" as the base color giving that particular piece a completely different feel. I will eventually be uploading that one as well.
