Vintage Inspired, LOTS of time and detail put into this BaBy~GirLs dress...
I have taken 2 layers of soft muslin cotton, hand dyed both in different colors. The lining is a beautiful shade of a light periwinkle blue. Cut so both ends angle down into a point. Vintage light blue lace sewn on the raw hemline. The bodice of this dress dyed to a beautiful antique coffee colored hue, with LOTS of detail to brag about♥...A hand dyed crochet collar trims the neckline. Swatches from her touch and feel samples that she passes down to my oldest daughter and I to have fun with sewn in a line angling down the front of the dress in coordinating colors. A hand dyed doily sewn on the front with a hand dyed tattered blue rose set in the middle. A tiny pearl sewn in the center of the rose. A doily on the back as well with a heart shaped patch below. Two-toned vintage flower lace trims the raw hemline of the bodice as well. Due to the dying process colors may vary slightly. I will use different little fabrics sewn on the front with each custom order, giving this title it's well deserved "ONE OF A KIND" look. Raw hems complete the shabby chic look. The vintage lace used is bought in small sections from various suppliers, due to the nature as soon as I run out, a different lace than shown might trim your dress...Fraying will occur, this is on purpose! Zipper back closure.
(I just ran out of the lace used on the outer layer of the dress... But will replace with something equally as beautiful!)
Special note....the blue color shown in pic I under layer of dress) is REALLY hard to emulate. The colors seem to be coming out lighter, almost a lavender shade or a darker purpleish blue now....THANKS!
