Seagull Pewter products are designed and handcrafted in the tiny fishing village of Pugwash in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Pewter is one of the most valuable precious metals in common use today. It can be highly polished or buffed to a satin finish. Pewter, like other precious metals, has set standards that specify that pewter must contain at least 92% tin. Like gold and platinum, pewter does not tarnish; as it ages it takes on a soft, even patina.
This Bunny brooch was created in the late 1980's and measures 2" x 1 1/2". It depicts 2 rabbits, face-to-face, inside a beautiful heart shaped frame...so sweet, feminine and romantic!
