A new doll shape, using a more traditional rag doll format with floppy arms and legs and playing around with the proportions. I wanted her to have a smaller head, wide hips and skinny legs, I know doesn't every girl want those attributes?
Well, Jude is happy the way she is! Her body and legs are linen, her arms felt and linen. Her hair is wool embroidered with little French knots framing her face which is hand embroidered with fine thread. Her skirt is cotton with a tweed look, shoes are felt, bodice is made of coloured felt squares attached with quality fabric glue. I love all the little details on Jude from her stitched socks to her knotted hair. She is polyester filled. Size = 21.5" or 54.6 cm tall from top of hat to tips of toes, head to toe = 20" widest point at base of skirt = 5"
Jude is not suitable for children due to her delicate construction and small parts. She looks fantastic displayed just about anywhere.
