Feral cat colonies, when spayed/neutered and cared for responsibly, can make wonderful neighbors. When fed regularly and kept vetted, a colony is a great answer to the problem of overpopulated, unhandlable cats who would otherwise be killed since they are usually considered unadoptable. Support trap-neuter-and-return programs in your area to make it a better place for cats and for people.
