PORCELAIN CITY ARCHITECTURAL OBJECTS (8) White.
Designed after the seventeenth-century canal houses of the Dutch Golden Age that still stand today as they did in early art and photography, when they hosted Dutch artists such as Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer and Paulus Potter, and after the Parisian Art Nouveau and Baron Haussmann architecture built when the first automobiles competed with elegant horse carriages in the bustling streets of Paris, these modern forms represent a sense of homeland in European cities. Form and texture arch and bend the shadows around these pure white porcelain houses. Each piece I create is personally inscribed with the artist's name and date.
This purchase includes eight (8) porcelain free-standing (not wall-mountable) architectural sculptures, 2 of each design. Houses measure between approximately 2.7 cm and 7.6 cm (1 inch and 3 inches) tall. Color: White.
