When I think of myself as an artist I tend to get drawn to images of the past. I find myself wondering whatever became of the women in the photos I use. What was she like? Where did she live? Was she surrounded by love? Was she alone when she died? Most importantly would she want to be remembered and her image brought back to life instead of being locked away in a trunk or stored in an old forgotten box. When I examine the pictures more closely the answer is yes. Thus begins my creative process to make this happen.
