Old timber upcycled to new life: Only Mother nature can deliver this patina! See the incredible story this wood has to tell. This was an "end cut" from a timber beam used in a mountain lodge. Left outside, the wood was gray but for the corners which still have little bits of bark. The wood block has been kiln dried (so important!), leveled, sides and top smoothed, small feet have been added to create an air space underneath ((1/4 inch). These pieces are raw unsealed wood. We do recommend a coat of our matte wax finish to help deter humidity shifts.
Great companions for our other reclaimed pieces, these functional blocks of wood can join your living space or work space as a pedestal, stool, table, nightstand, or side table or plant stand or perhaps you see another use . . . a laptop table in front of your sofa, perhaps? Use them side by side as a really stable coffee table or at the foot of your bed. Whatever tales it held as factory block, our little find is now wood with a whole new story!
