The wings are set in hand cut glass, and soldered decoratively with a silver alloy. The pendant is a big bold statement piece, measuring 4.5" wide 2" tall and hanging on a 16" sterling silver chain with a sterling silver toggle clasp.
The butterflies I use are farmed all over the world, and harvested after their natural death. No butterflies are killed for my use. I try to select only the most perfect wings, but because they have lived and flown, there may be small imperfections on the wings. ******
