My friend Angela did just that. She formed a friendship, a bond with Sadie, a newfi-lab that was rescued from a neglectful situation. Angela took a considerable effort in fostering Sadie and is now moving down the path to adopt her.

The bracelet:
The colors in this stone just evokes thoughts of cool delicious watermelon! Luscious tiny faceted chips of tourmaline stones were used to make this bracelet. I used sparkling 2mm chips of tourmaline in the classic watermelon colors of pinks and greens. This dainty bracelet is a perfect compliment to a variety of styles.
The bracelet is fastened with a sterling silver toggle clasp and measures 7 ½” (191 mm) in length, but can be custom sized as needed-FREE of charge! A sterling silver charm in the shape of a dog paw hangs from one end of the bracelet.

Tourmaline is said to be found in all colors because it traveled along a rainbow and gathered all the rainbow's colors. It is believed to strengthen the body and spirit, especially the nervous system, blood, and lymphs. It is also thought to inspire creativity and was used extensively as a talisman by artists and writers.
